Hi, i'm from quebec city and i just want to show you my truck !

I drive it everyday and i plan to drop it 3/4 this summer !
It's not a project truck but i want to make it that way slowly..( no garage and it is my only car...)

I got some pictures to show you, nothing big but i keep it clean

I love my paint color...here in quebec i didn't see other gm trucks (modified) with that color.
I saw some sierra/silverado who are the same generation but nothing beautiful ..just work trucks or stock ones ... And 1-2 truck on internet ...It's kind of unique for me ahah..

Sunny day, maybe one month later:


Last week mod ; I will install chromed mesh grill in the grill and in the bumper holes:


Wheels 245-45-r18:


I change my radiator support, it was pretty rusty !! it actually broke in half when i remove it ahah :


And finally what it look like now, damn i want that drop kit ! :


I got front and rear xtreme sway bars, magnaflow exhaust, complete sound system with 12subwoofer and 2 6"x9", painted interior ( working on )...

Mesh grills installed and i bought of my friend some 195/65/15 to put on my swirl rims ( i bought a nicer set last year because mine is in pretty bad shape ... so i painted them black to use them as winter wheels )

I should order my lowering kit next week so ... will be installed whitin 4 weeks i hope !! ( does thesuspensionsource.com shipping fast for canadian orders ? )

I did order my lowering kit this 30th june ! and i got some extra fees because of our canada's post service delays ! ..100 $ more... damn..

But my drop kit as leaved Sacramento in california today at 12:28, estimated delivery time : 14th July !
Nice my truck will be dropped for my 2 weeks of vacancy.... !!

Nice ! 2 weeks after i order my kit, it did arrived at his destination...

My vacation weeks starts the 22th july so it should be installed before the 1st august !!

and finally !!!

Here's actually the only shot i got with my daily wheels ! :


But i try my 15" with the winter rubbers(205 or 215?!/65/15)something like that i never remind it lol..they are bigger a little bit so it's looking badass but it's too big! My 18" are smaller. (245/45/18) and its more driveable with them...almost not rubbing.

It's not rubbing...it's just frictionning a little bit !

Maybe my swaybar link is too much bolted..i just unbolted a little bit....( but the 2 are the same lenght i did correct chevy lean when i install my xtreme swaybar..)

I thing my aftermarket frontpipe is really lower than the original...it's sucks..

Okay so i wash my truck last week !

I love those pictures ! my truck looks so nice !!

Those are my daily summer wheels: 245-45-18, offset : really bad lol but it's more driveable like this because if i did go wider the tires will be rubbing on the exterior fender lip so it could tear my tires...

On big hits, rubbers are touching in the inner fender ( flat surface ! ) so it's so bad ... it need bigs bumps.

It's not a real truck but i working on it hard as i should do it on mine ! ahha
It's a killing time hobby
F-150 4x4 off-road, converted in 2x4 custom frame, bodydrop, and customs active suspensions.

Hi so it's the octobre 21th and i just past the 200 000 km !!! Yeah !
My engine is in perfect shape, but "need" plugs, rotor and a distributor to make it happy for being so gentle ! ahah

On heavy heavy rainy days, it makes some little missfires and sometimes (happens 2 times in 2 years..the 2 rainiest times we got here in quebec city) it didn't want to start...

So if i can bought those pieces it should be done before the next spring..when snow melts...



Maybe 2 weeks ago i change my oil and put some Penzoil, first time i use it and i'm pretty satisfied..(less valves sounds, sorry didn't know how to say that ! lol) even if it is a 5w-30 like i always use for our winters.... lol.

Prestone was clean and now it is change...almost for nothing but now i know that the gasket are maybe in pretty good shape etc.... No leals and it never make smoke; white one.

Party picture: I revoved the prestone overflow tank so i was able to make anti-rust paint touch up on the fenders....but i give up for the other side...hum. this was my fail of the day lol but the fenders are still in good shape.
