5.0 Mazda

Hey, its been awhile since I was on here and i'm a couple of months into a project now (been collecting parts) and i'm ready to start showing. I picked up an 96 B2300 with no box in fairly good condition (Hard to find not rotted out around here). got myself a Donor 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis with a 5L. Just got rid of the shell yesterday and picked up a 5 spd transmission from an F-150 and a new clutch! I wil be Posting Pictures in a few hours.

What are the plans for this thing? 5L swap obviously, but what else?

well i'm still not really sure, i'm just gonna go with the flow. lowering it, dont know about bags yet. Body and paint,Rims and Tires, all that jazz. Then some serious engine tweaking! I will Update as i complete things

a buddy of mine just did this swap in his ranger. things a monster with a huge static drop. been a while but i think he said something crazy like 10/13 drop? its only about 2 inches off the ground n rumbles nice too!

what year was it? was it a carb or fuel injected?
