Notch looks enormous. Whats your plan for the diff? From the pics it doesnt look like your wheels will tuck out back.

I love the black rims on there. Totally suits the truck.

The rims will not tuck in the back with the box in its stock condition... Thats why Ive widened the box by about 2.5 inches on either side, so the rims JUSTTTTT slide up with like a paper width between them and the bed side.... When I start finishing up the box (after the frame is done and the truck can go outside while the bed is inside..) Ill take photos and show you all what im doing to it...

Basically "wide bodying" the bed.... Im gunna flair out the fenders all the way down the truck, instead of just rolling them so the actuall bed sides have to be drilled off the truck and welded back in place.

Ohh, Ps, the notch (as you see it there,) is not compleated, Its going to be a 10" notch. I didnt want to balls up my new phone when I was taking the pix, so I stopped once I realized I was getting the phone dirty... I will be taking some more photos this weekend when I finish up the other frame rail....

why would you try wide bodying it when you can just shorten the diff, you'd cut down on alot of bodywork

i'd say shorten rear end. lot less work and lot less bodywork.

then your box sides will still line up with the cab. and not stick out.

Shortening the ranger rear would be simplest though. I'm PRETTY sure you can just cut down the long side axle tube to match the short side, and get another short side axle from the junk yard.

Give yourself room! From one Ranger owner to another, you will screw up your paint if you don't give enough clearance for your tires...
