Laying out with no rear suspension. Sits about 1" off the ground everywhere. Front lays with weight on it, rear will likely be an inch or so higher for driveshaft issues. laying on the bridge bar now but that wont be an issue when i set up the bumpstops.

Bag mounts built. The shock tabs aren't welded yet i left them long so i can position them as needed. They slide through the bag bracket.

The top of the spring pocket is angled like that, so the cups have to taper to get the bag to sit flat.

RE7s in the front, F9000 sleeves in the rear.

This is Joel building something... he doesn't skimp out on important things like shocks.

You have to have a dealer account with RCD to purchase direct but retail would be around the $90 mark depending on the shock. If you need pricing on anything RCD or Bilstein let me know.

Thats 90 a pair?

and ya I was just wondering the same thing about the frame?? We used that POR 15 stuff and what a finish that gave! It seals the oxidization up so it can't expand any more.

$90 each. Its not a bad trade off when you consider that they are custom valved for air ride and carry a lifetime warranty when used on a bagged ride. How many generic shocks are you going to go through on a bagged truck at $30 to $50 each? Pick up the Jan 2010 Minitruckin and the Dec 2009 issue of Street Rodder. Steve from RCD has some awesome articles in both mags about shock theory in general, and what makes the bilstein/RCD shocks different from 'standard' brands.

Yes blasted and powdercoated once I'm done all the metalwork. Should have some more by the end of the weekend. Decided to get a little carried away modifying the stock front clip for looks and shock clearance.
