The part that really sucks, is when that happens you find out the hard way just how under insured you are. A friend of mine had a restoration shop just outside of London Ont. until it burnt down 2 days before xmas '04. 3 customer cars where total loses ('69 Roadrunner, '67 427 Vette and a '70 Mustang Boss 302) and lost some irreplacible parts for a few others. He spent all of the insurance money paying off customers for the total loses and still had to pay over $20,000 out of pocket replacing lost parts so that his customers can take their cars elswhere to finish. I ended up finishing off a '72 GMC Pick-up for him and the shop I just got laid off from still has a '66 Vette conv. from that fire.
Never did get anything to replace his shop or tools.
