I'm just sick of it being the vehicles fault when driving it properly is 100% on the driver. Its like telling a guy his 500 HP car is unsafe because it could reach dangerous speeds. Its up to the owner to drive their vehicle within limitations of the law, be it within the speed limit, or above the scrub line.
Why on earth do you need to have lock to lock steering when laid out?? In the unlikely even of a complete suspension failure, you need to be able to make a U Turn? Ticket guys for dragging, hopping etc. I have zero issue with that, and would take my tickets/demerits for it without complaint, as you know full well when you are doing it, you are breaking the law. Doesnt mean the truck is unsafe, it means you were driving it unsafely. There's a big difference that they don't seem to care about when it comes to minitrucks and lowriders.

When my truck got towed last year, for the 'handles, and tint' making it unsafe to drive. I lifted the truck for the flatdeck to take it away. Right in front of the cop to be a dink. All I got was a "I dont know if i like what you just did there."
Saw him a few times after that and he never said a word. Still see him to this day pull over people like a jackass, and have many friends pulled over by him as well.

Euter/Alex I need more info from you guys ASAP. I'm trying to help here.
Euter, was it actually inspections guys that came to your house and issued the tickets, or was it just regular cops? Gord from NAAACCC is contacting the guys he knows at the inspections office today, but he has asked me for more details for when they get back to him

Ok here I go..
It was actual inspection cops. They brought the truck and what not. I dont really know what you want to know. It was one of the inspection guys that saw me when he was off duty and decided to pull super cop the next day. |
