1st Gen S10 - Blazer Rear Bumper

Well, I was in need of a rear bumper, so I pulled one off a Blazer (was the best looking bumper and easiest to take off in the WHOLE YARD)

2x 9"x2.5"x1/4" piece of steel
I cut the 9" piece and cut 3" off it. So then I had 2 pieces of metal per side: 6"x2.5"x1/4" and 3"x2.5"x1/4".
Then I moved the 3" piece down 1.5", and welded it together.

Then I took these, removed my rear bumper, and marked it for drilling.
I stacked the 2 brackets together, then drilled the holes.

In the pictures, I have them bolted up to the inside. I had to move them to the outside for them to properly mount up.

I guarentee you that the bumper will fold before the brackets break. these things are damn SOLID!
