My wife refuses to drive a Ford and I refuse to fix another of her Dodges so we've compremized and decided to get her a 2000-'04 Blazer/Jimmy, but we need one that has atleast a 5000lb tow capacity. So after doing some researce found that I need one with the 3.42 rear (and perferably the factory tow pakage)

So my questions are: Where does GM put the axle codes on these? What is the code I'm looking for? And is there a diff. tag on the axle with the ratio stamped in it?
